  • Having lived in Los Angeles for 10 years, I was very familiar with this hotel and the neighborhood it is in. For those visiting Los Angeles and are looking to save money while being close to downtown, I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was very accommodating, and despite the major renovations going on my stay was pleasant. It was also freakishly cold by LA standards when I was there, so I appreciated the central heat that the hotel offers, A rare amenity in the older buildings of Los Angeles! I always liked this neighborhood, a quiet predominantly latin one with lots of little Panaderias and Pupuserias. If you are an avid fan of theatre, classical music, and museums, you can get much closer the the Civic Center area for this price. If you are willing to use mass transit there is a bus (Line 10) that stops near the hotel and goes directly to the Red Line station (eastbound) and into the Hollywood/Melrose area (westbound). With price of gas reaching $4.00 in LA again and the cost of a rental care this is always a great thing to consider when planning a trip to Los Angeles and a great reason to stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean, but are in need of renovation, but the good news is, they’re doing it! I just hope when the owner will consider keeping the rates the same once the renovations are completed and thus making the hotel more attractive to value minded travelers.

  • This hotel is a hidden treasure. Only 1 mile for Dodger stadium the rooms are clean and refurbished. Direct tv with over 300 channels, free breakfast, free secure underground parking and most of all the BBQ restaurant on site The Parks Finest… Wow. I paid less than hundred dollars and had a pleasant two day stay. The staff of the hotel are great and very knowledgable about the local area. Don’t miss the Walt Disney Concert hall and the fashion district. Thanks and see you soon.

  • We booked the Knights Inn for one night as a base to explore LA and Hollywood, however we extended our stay, to a total of 4 nights since we enjoyed it so much. Each person on the reception desk was 100% helpful and literally went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. Room was good, comfortable beds, and good air-con worked well, much needed on a hot LA summers day! We also enjoyed the waffles they provided as part of the included breakfast, great start to each day!
They have free car parking, and free wi-fi which works well even for youtube and such.
Short drive to Hollywood, to Santa Monica, to downtown LA, and the surrounding areas.
Across the street is a convenience shop which has all the essentials for snacks and drinks which is really useful as well.
Overall, We would gladly stay here again and also recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable location to stay while in LA.

  • What a great find in LA! The staff were all friendly and helpful, giving us lots of help and advice with things to do and how to get around the city. The room was great, very clean, the bed was very comfortable, nice flat screen TV with cable, great bathroom, really hot water, perfect. Breakfast was more than we expected for this price range, good choice of cereals, toast and fresh made waffles, yum. The location is great too, not easy to walk most places but bus stops right outside the hotel for buses going in all directions, and about a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro (for Union Station and Hollywood mainly), and only about $9 in a cab to Union Station or $7 to downtown and little Tokyo.

We were really impressed with everything, and to top it all off, we asked for a late checkout on our final day as our flight didn’t leave until midnight and they allowed us to stay until 7pm with no charge – thank you thank you thank you, what a treat!

Couldn’t recommend it highly enough, for the price I can’t imagine you could possibly do any better.

  • Location, Location, Location! Situated just outside the big city and only a short 2-4 minute drive into the heart of L.A., Knights Inn stayed true to the amenities that were offered; 100%. Clean street, some shop owners even hosed down their sidewalks as the day began. Just across the street is a great bakery and small markets. As a women traveling alone, I felt secure with the friendly and helpfuf staff; they offered to carry luggage and were just ‘all around’ friendly. The parking is not only free but secure. The room was not spacious but the bed was, and I slept well in comfort. Not luxurous (neither is the price) but very clean, the hotel is situated between a busy street and the freeway, (which in itself is fantastic) but I was never bothered by any noise. Great surprises are still possible. Thanks for a great stay!

  • The hotel is located not too far from the downtown and can be accessed by either public transport or a short drive to main tourist attractions. The rooms are exceptionally clean and neat. The hotel is well-kept and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at the hotel.
